Miyazaki is located in the southern part of Kyushu island.
One of the famous temples here is Udo Shrine. The bright red Torii gates on the rugged cliff take you to the shrine in the cave overlooking the ocean. The scenery is simply spectacular. Takachiho has a religious significance in Shinto and is considered a powerful spiritual spot. Amano Iwato Shrine, Takachiho river gorge, and Takachiho shrine are necessary to see. Miyazaki Gyu is one of the top-quality wagyu in Japan. The name is given to the cattle raised in Miyazaki prefecture and has A4 or higher ranking. Miyazaki Wagyu, however, is one or hybrid of the four specific kinds of cattle that are grown in the area. The Capital is Miyazaki City.
