Many of us have gone on a big cruise ship for a vacation. I’ve taken my family on Caribbean cruises in the past. The ships were modern and beautiful. Cruise ships are like a moving city with so many shops and restaurants and thousands of people on board. These cruises have their charm, but I’m about to introduce you to a unique type of floating hotel in Japan. The Yasushi Horibe-designed Guntu hotel floats on the Seto Inland Sea and gives guests the ideal opportunity to unwind in a breathtaking setting. The Guntu Hotel has just nineteen rooms, each with a patio and stunning ocean views. A warm yet sophisticated atmosphere is created throughout the hotel by beautiful brown wooden surfaces, and the common and private spaces are illuminated by huge windows. Visitors may savor delectable Japanese cuisine and seasonal specialties in the sizable dining area. This dining area also features a sushi station with fresh fish and local seafood.

FUN FACT: The name of this contemporary hotel alludes to the local crab's nickname. This floating hotel's combination of traditional and modern design is

extraordinary. Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity! Guntu cruise starts at the marina in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
