Not many people know this outside of Japan, but you can actually put your name on one of those red archways found in front of shrines. The archway is called a “torii,” and the red ones “Shu-iro” are some of the most beautiful to me. Japan has a rich history in religious architecture, and it’s amazing that you have a way to be a part of it forever. Wouldn't it be amazing to see your name on one?
HOT TIP:
For a donation between 210,000 and 1600,000,000 Japanese Yen, depending on the size of the Torii, you can be a part of the shrine called Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto.
